As soon as I got this kit I knew that I would be using it to scrapbook all of my favorite Christmas memories for this year! The first that came to mind was the day we picked up our tree! What turned into being a just-right tree turned out to be way to big and we had to bring the chainsaw indoors to cut 4 feet off the bottom! I remember saying "It looked so much bigger outside!"
The holiday graphics along the bottom half of so many of the papers in the Pinkfresh Studio Christmas Wishes collection are perfect for layering and building up backgrounds. This particular paper had a great open spot that was begging for a mixed media Christmas tree so I added one using some Ranger Texture paste and Distress Ink! I love, love, love it!
The collection comes with so many dimensional embellishments so I added a few of those along the bottom to begin layering up the design. I also used some of the Tombow foam squares to add dimension to the cardboard diecuts.
