School ended last Friday and summer is in full swing around these parts! After such a long, cold, winter I have never been more ready to spend time out in the sun with my girls. Last summer was full of toddlers and newborns and I missed getting outside and enjoying the season. This summer is our time to thrive. Adeline and Eleanor are both at such fun and curious stages. It feels like it has taken forever to get here and now that we are...it is so awesome.
My goal for the summer is plan just enough and to leave just enough to chance. It's going to be fun and busy, slow and quiet, scheduled and spontaneous, organized and chaotic. Two wonderful months of summer to
grow things
buy cute girly bathing suits
go to the beach
take trips to the zoo
play outside in the backyard
grill out...alot
do something creative
organize the front closet
purge our main closet
snuggle on the couch
celebrate Eleanor turning one
eat icecream
discover new smoothie recipes
run a half marathon
finish losing the baby weight
get tan lines
finish watching Scandal
celebrate this crazy sweet stage of life we are in
eat corn on the cob
and fresh tomatoes
cultivate our garden
keep my flowers alive
take lots of photos
invest in time spent with others
fall in love with my craft room all over again
live
