"Hi Amanda! This project of yours is too cute! I'm taking notes for the future, as I don't have a "special" valentine right now. Lucky me, I have 10 this year! (Ahem, that would be my students.) I teach in a self-contained unit for children with autism, and of course we celebrated the day in style yesterday. My favorite special Valentine's moment this year was when one of my formerly non-verbal students came up to me and asked to take a Valentine's Day picture with me! So exciting to see his transition from non-verbal to seeking social interaction this year!"
