Since our house is considered a 1 1/2 story ranch we have a loft that spans the entire width of the main living space and overlooks the kitchen, morning room, and living room. This gives us some huge wall space, something most diyourselfers would love. This past spring we had some of our friends give us some amazing ideas for some of the other walls in the house but we still have one wall that is the bane of my existance.
Behold, the wall.
As you can see, it is a very tall, blank wall that is crying out for some attention. After days of perusing different Pinterest boards I developed a base idea for some of the elements that I want to include.
I also have plans to include a canvas print of one of the family photos from Eleanor's newborn photoshoot as well as any other interesting things I may find. The goal is to complete as much of this on my own as possible. I am kicking around the idea of adding a chalkboard like this one near the bottom to give Adeline something to draw on. What do you think?
Have any of you tackled a huge gallery wall like this one? What was your experience like? Did you wait and hang everything at once or did you hang piece by piece.
Make sure to check back and follow me along on this great wall project!
